By booking through Bacau Bay Resort Coron’s booking channels, including our website, email, through our front desk, or online booking services, including those offered through third-party online travel agencies (OTAs), guests agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Reservation Policies
1.1 Booking Confirmation
- All reservations are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email. Please ensure that the email address provided is accurate and regularly checked.
1.2 Payment
- A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. Payment terms and conditions will be specified at the time of booking, including any required deposits or prepayments.
- For reservations made through OTAs, their specific payment terms will apply.
1.3 Deposit Policy
- For bookings with a stay of 1 night, 100% of the total stay is required to reserve a room.
- For bookings with a stay of more than 1 night, 50% of the total stay is required to reserve a room. The remaining balance should be settled upon arrival.
1.4 Cancellation, No-Show, and Modification Policy
- Kindly refer to the Cancellation and Modification Policy detailed separately.
- Any changes to your reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us directly for modifications.
2. Check-In and Check-Out
2.1 Check-In
- Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Express check-in will be implemented wherein necessary forms and incidental deposit should be provided prior to arrival.
- An incidental deposit equivalent to one (1) room night is required before arrival, which will be refunded upon check-out should no charges occur.
2.2 Check-Out
- Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2.3 Identification
- A valid government-issued ID and the credit card used for booking must be presented upon check-in.
3. Use of Facilities
3.1 General Rules
- Guests are expected to respect and adhere to the rules and regulations of Bacau Bay Resort Coron. Any damage to property or violation of rules may result in additional charges and/or termination of the stay.
3.2 Pool and Recreational Areas
- Use of pool and recreational areas is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
3.3 No Smoking Policy
- Bacau Bay Resort Coron strictly implements a No Smoking Policy within the resort, including inside the rooms. Designated smoking areas are available for guests.
3.4 Environmental Commitment
- As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we encourage your participation in maintaining the cleanliness of the bay and mangrove areas by minimizing waste, especially single-use plastics.
4. Local Regulations
4.1 Attire
- Wearing of swimming attire outside the beach or pool areas is highly discouraged. Kindly wear modest clothing, such as shirts, shorts, dresses, or other attire that fully covers the torso, when in public places.
4.2 Smoking Restrictions
- Smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and the like in public areas such as streets, buildings, beach fronts, and outdoor spaces is prohibited except in designated areas where cigarette waste can be properly disposed.
5. Travel Insurance
Bacau Bay Resort Coron recommends that all guests have independent travel insurance while traveling. We strongly recommend that all clients take out personal travel insurance at the time of booking to cover illness, injury, death, loss of luggage, personal items, medical cancellations, and extreme weather evacuations/displacements.
6. Limitation of Liability
Bacau Bay Resort Coron, its affiliates, and staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, booking services, or stay at our property. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles. Bacau Bay Resort Coron does not accept responsibility for delays, additional expenses, or inconveniences caused by events beyond our control, such as travel agent error, late arrival of air flights, civil and political disturbances, fire, acts of God, national emergencies, strikes, or causes beyond reasonable control of the Resort.
7. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, and government actions.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of the Philippines.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
