By booking through the BACAU BAY RESORT CORON website, online booking services, or third-party online travel agencies (OTAs), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or utilizing our booking services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are advised not to use our services.
- Reservation Policies
2.1 Booking Confirmation
- All reservations are subject to availability. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. Please ensure that the email address is accurate and regularly checked. Reservations are only considered confirmed upon receipt of this email.
2.2 Payment
- A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. Payment terms, including required deposits or prepayments, will be detailed at the time of booking.
- For reservations made through OTAs, their specific payment policies and terms will apply.
2.3 Deposit Policy
- 1-night stay: A deposit of 100% of the total stay amount is required to reserve a room.
- 2 or more nights: A 50% deposit is required to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.
2.4 Cancellation, No-Show, and Modification Policy
- Cancellations: Please refer to our detailed Cancellation and Modification Policy for specific terms, fees, and deadlines.
- Modifications: Reservation changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Contact us directly for any modification requests.
- No-Show: Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice may result in a full charge for the stay.
2.5 Activities and Tours Reservations
- For inquiries or bookings of activities and tours, please contact our Front Office. Availability is subject to change, and some activities may require advance booking.
- Check-In and Check-Out
3.1 Check-In
- Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
- Express Check-In: Guests are encouraged to complete necessary forms and submit the incidental deposit prior to arrival.
- Incidental Deposit: A deposit of PHP 3,000 is required upon check-in, refundable upon check-out if no charges have been incurred during the stay.
3.2 Check-Out
- Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3.3 Identification
- A valid government-issued ID and the credit card used for the reservation must be presented at check-in.
- Room Keys and Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Guests will be issued a room key and provided with Wi-Fi access upon check-in.
- Lost Key Policy: Lost or unreturned keys will result in a charge of PHP 500. All keys must be returned upon check-out.
- Room Housekeeping
- Daily housekeeping is available upon request. Guests are encouraged to notify the front desk if they prefer a daily service.
- Please secure personal belongings, as BACAU BAY RESORT CORON is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- Use of Facilities
6.1 General Rules
- Guests are expected to adhere to BACAU BAY RESORT CORON' property rules. Any damage to property or violations of resort rules may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the stay without refund.
6.2 Damages and Discovered Issues
- Guests will be held responsible for damages to room items such as furniture, mattresses, bedding, and electronics. A charge of 120% of the replacement cost, including shipping and handling, will be applied.
- Any excessive staining of linens (due to oils, makeup, etc.) may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees.
6.3 Pool and Recreational Areas
- The use of the pool and other recreational areas is at the guests' own risk. Children must always be supervised by an adult.
6.4 Equipment and Furniture
- Moving or rearranging furniture, fixtures, or decorations is strictly prohibited. Any damages caused by such actions will be charged to the guest.
- No Smoking Policy
BACAU BAY RESORT CORON maintains a strict No Smoking Policy within the resort, including guest rooms and public areas. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Violations of this policy will result in a Php10,000 fine.
- Corkage Fees
To maintain the integrity of our services, the following corkage fees apply for food and beverages brought into the resort:
- Snacks (3 bags or more): PHP 500
- Wine (per bottle): PHP 700
- Hard Liquor (per bottle): PHP 1,500
- Beer (per bottle): PHP 300
- Soft Drinks (per bottle): PHP 200
- Outside Food: PHP 1,000 per dish (excludes baby food)
- Environmental Commitment
9.1 Energy and Environmental Conservation
- Please turn off all lights and appliances when not in use.
- Littering within the resort premises is strictly prohibited. Recyclable bins are provided for proper waste segregation.
- Visitors and Local Deliveries Policy
- Visitors must receive prior management approval and are required to leave by 10:00 PM.
- All visitors must be pre-registered by hotel guest at least 2 hours in advance.
- No overnight stays are allowed for visitors, and non-compliance may result in additional charges.
- Fire Safety & Emergency Services
- All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Emergency evacuation plans are posted behind the doors.
- In case of emergency, contact reception or security, available 24/7.
- Local Regulations
12.1 Attire
- Please wear modest clothing in public areas. Swimwear is only permitted in designated pool areas.
12.2 Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM onwards. Please respect the privacy of other guests and avoid loud disturbances.
- Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, extreme weather, and loss of personal belongings.
- Limitation of Liability
BACAU BAY RESORT CORON, its staff, and affiliates are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our website, booking services, or during the guest's stay. This includes damages due to unforeseen events such as travel delays, political disturbances, or natural disasters.
14.1Lost and Found
BACAU BAY RESORT CORON is not liable for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items. Found items will be stored as follows:
- Perishable items: up to 24 hours
- Non-perishable items: up to 30 days
- Valuable items (worth Php3,000 and above): up to 6 months
Guests are responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning found items.
14.2 Assumption of Risk
By participating in activities at BACAU BAY RESORT CORON, guests acknowledge the risks involved, including personal injury or health threats. Guests fully assume responsibility for these risks.
14.3 Waiver and Release of Liability
By engaging in resort activities, guests agree to release BACAU BAY RESORT CORON, its staff, and affiliates from liability for any injury, health issues, or property damage that may occur during their stay.
14.4 Indemnity Agreement
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless BACAU BAY RESORT CORON from any claims or liabilities arising from their stay or participation in activities, including any damage, personal injury, or loss.
- Force Majeure
BACAU BAY RESORT CORON will not be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from acts beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or government actions.
15.1 Illness and Epidemics
- We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to guests exhibiting symptoms of contagious diseases.
- If a guest becomes ill during their stay, they must notify reception immediately.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. In the event of a dispute, both parties will attempt to resolve it amicably. If unresolved, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Philippine courts.
- Data Privacy Policy
BACAU BAY RESORT CORON adheres to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA No. 10173). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our guests' personal data and using it solely to enhance the guest experience.
- Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Management's Rights
- Guests must conduct themselves with respect and refrain from causing disruptions.
- Management reserves the right to evict guests, without refund, for non-compliance with resort policies.
